The Nea Paralia waterfront is the nicest way to see Thessaloniki by bike. The route starts at the port, passes the White Tower and Zongolopoulos's Umbrellas sculpture, and follows the sea to the Concert Hall and the marina at Kalamaria.
It's flat, with a cycle path along much of the seafront. At dusk on a clear day you can see Mount Olympus across the Thermaic Gulf.
