Hudson River Greenway by bike: Battery Park to the George Washington Bridge

12.4 mi

The Hudson River Greenway runs the length of Manhattan's west side on a path separated from traffic, which makes it one of the busiest bike paths in the country. From Battery Park it passes Hudson River Park, Chelsea Piers and the Intrepid, then continues through Riverside Park and along the Cherry Walk.

It ends at the Little Red Lighthouse beneath the George Washington Bridge. The path is flat almost all the way, with views across the river to New Jersey. Citi Bike docks are dotted along it if you'd rather ride one way.
