The Canal de l'Ourcq is an almost car-free way out of Paris by bike. From Parc de la Villette the path follows the water through Pantin and its street-art walls, then Bondy and Sevran, where it crosses the wooded Parc de la Poudrerie.
It's flat and the path is wide, but busy near Paris at weekends. For the way back, RER B trains stop at Villeparisis.
