The route starts at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center in Faliro and follows the coast south past the marina at Alimos, Glyfada and the beaches of Voula to Lake Vouliagmeni.
There are few cycle paths, and part of the route runs on busy roads near Poseidonos Avenue. Set off early in the morning, when the roads are quieter and the heat gentler, and bring your swimming things.
